Sensei Steve Pearce

Sensei Steve started Karate when he was 10 years old, having joined a club in Baldock which was previously a member of the ESKA Association. Under the tuition of Sensei Sarah and George Fullarton he gained his black belt in October 2002.

Having taken a break for university, he returned to Karate to then obtain his 2nd Dan black belt in May 2008. After another short break pursuing his career and being moved around the UK, he then returned to Karate in January 2013.

It was Steve’s long desire to open his own Karate club and in September 2013 he did so, opening the doors of the Ickleford club.

In November 2017 he obtained his 3rd Dan black belt.
